Under the Juvenile Court Act of 1987, if the child has a case that includes situations like delinquent, neglected, and abused. Under the law of Probate Act of 1975, when care of the child or children is wanted. Under the law of the Adoption Act, pending the termination of both parental rights and temporary child custody. In determining your rights to be heard, your lawyer will take the necessary actions in order to make the case settled as soon as possible. Moreover, your Illinois child custody lawyer will determine if the case will be prosper under certain conditions. An Illinois court will tell if the case will be heard if its under any one of the three situations and these are the following: If the state of Illinois is the home of the child at the time of the beginning of the proceedings or if the state is the childs home within 6 months before the start of the proceedings. The child is not living anymore within the state as long as one of the parent or an individual acting as parent continues to reside in Illinois. If one of the parents has important connection with the state and interest of the child concerning the future care, training, protection is available in the state of Illinois. If the child is physically present in the state of Illinois and abandoned or mistreated and neglected. If the case appears when another state declined to apply its jurisdiction on the ground that only the state of Illinois is the place to take the appropriate judgment. Finally, in resolving your case to whom the child rightfully belongs is just another phase of the process in divorce or in legal separation. With an involvement of an Illinois lawyer, their knowledge about the states child custody laws will surely help your case. About Appetite Reducing Substances to Help for Weight Reduction

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

By Knut Holt Appetite suppressors can be a help during a slimming process. On the market of today you can find both appetite suppressors related to the substance amphetamine and appetite reducers of herbal origin. Appetite suppressors are generally recommended to use together with a diet program and exercise, and only for a limited time period. They are never recommended to use as the only means of achieving a reduced weight. Substances to reduce appetite have been used since the First World War. Soldiers used the stimulating substance amphetamine both to stimulate their fighting capacity and to reduce hunger. The same was done in the Second World War. After the last war, the civil market began to use amphetamine and related substances to help reduce the intake of food during weight loss efforts. A. APPETITE SUPPRESSORS OF THE AMPHETAMINE GROUP Amphetamine and related substances stimulate the alertness of the central nervous system and the impulse to external action. When zones of the brain dealing with external action are in high activity, signals are sent to zones controlling appetite, digestion and connected functions to reduce their activity. Thus central stimulating substances also reduce appetite. Since these drugs increase the bodily activity, they also help to reduce weight by inducing a higher rate of fat burning. Some drugs of this group are also used as antidepressant, for example fluoxetine hudrochloride (Prozac). Being central stimulants all these appetite suppressors also bear a certain risk of developing addiction, and of side effects like insomnia, agitation, manic reactions, hypertension, stroke, heart valve damage and heart rhythm disturbances. Because of such dangerous effects, many of these substances have been banned from most markets as appetite suppressants, for example amphetamine itself, aminorex, fenfluramine, phenylpropanolamine and ephedrine. However, many of these substances are still used for other purposes, for example to stimulate heart activity and to regulate up a too low blood pressure. Substances of this group available on the market today as appetite suppresants are: Phentermine, diethylpropion, phenidmetrazine, benzphetamine, sibutramine, rimonabant, oxyntomodulin and fluoxetine hydrochloride (Prozac). PHENTERMINE Phentermine is perhaps the most widely used appetite suppressant drug today. It works by increasing the release of the hormones / neurotransmitters norepinephrine, serotonine and dopamine, The signals from these substances make the nervous system more alert for external action and reduce appetite. EPHEDRA AND EPHEDRINE Ephedrine is a central stimulant extracted from species of the plant genus Ephedra. The substance is banned in most communities as a appetite suppressor nowadays, but are used for other medical purposes, for example to stimulate heart activity and increase blood pressure. In some communities Ephedra as a herb is still used as a part of stimulating herbal preparations. SIBUTRAMINE Sibutramine works by reducing the reuptake of the hormones / neurotransmitters serotonin, norepinefrine and dopamine and thus increases the effects from these substances, with increased alertness and reduced appetite as a result. RIMONABANT This is a new drug working by blocking signals receptors that increase appetite upon signals from neurotransmitters / hormones. These are the same receptors that react upon contact with substances in the narcotic herb Cannabis. The main action of this drug is appetite reduction. In addition to appetite reduction it also seems to help smoking cessation for certain smokers. Severe depression may be a side effect of this drug. B. MODERN HERBAL APPETITE SUPPRESSORS Because of the potential side effects of appetite suppressors from the amphetamine group, people often turn to herbal appetite reducers with a very long history of use in their country of origin without having shown the same side effects. The herbal appetite suppressors Hoodia Gordonii and pinnothin are two such herbal appetite suppressors of increasing popularity. Preparations containing these herbs generally also contain herbs that increase the burning of fat, or herbs that reduce the uptake of fat or sugar from the intestines. HOODIA GORDONII This is a cactus-like plant native in the African dessert Kalahari. The San tribe living in this region has used the herb in centuries to suppress hungers during long hunting expeditions. In the long traditional use, the herb has shown to suppress hunger without side effects. The plant contains substances whose molecules resemble glucose molecules. When there is enough glucose in the blood, the brain interprets it as a signal to reduce the hunger. The substances of the Hoodia Gordonii give the same signal to the brain, and thus reduce the appetite. PINNOTHIN This chemical complex is found on the Korean Pine Nut tree Pinus Koreanensis, and the working substance of Pinnothin is pinnoleic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid with 18 carbon atoms, three double bounds and with the first bound on the fifth carbon atom (omega-5 poly-unsaturated fatty acid). Pinnoleic acid reduces the appetite by inducing production of a larger amount of the appetite regulating signal substance cholecystokinin (CCK), which then is released into the blood circulation. CCK in the blood is interpreted by the brain as a command to reduce the feeling of hunger. Another ways CCK works, is by delaying the emptying of the stomach content into the intestines, and by giving signal to the gall bladder to empty its content with digestive enzymes into the small intestine. The stomach will therefore lack room for new food a longer time each day, and this reduces the urge to eat. Accounting Malpractice

Monday, August 27th, 2007

By Kevin Stith Accounting malpractice happens when the accountant or any accounting professional becomes negligent of his duties. Professional institutes establish a list of standard of care that must be met to protect others from the risks of harm and deceit and when these legally established standards of care are not met, it can sometimes be considered negligence. When filing a complaint concerning accounting malpractice, the plaintiff must be able to show that the negligent defendant was not able to meet the level of care that is common or customary in the accounting profession. An example is when an accountant is not able to file a client’s tax return on time. In an accounting malpractice case, the plaintiff must understand and establish four key elements. The plaintiff must: .Show that the accounting professional being sued had a clear responsibility to him 2. Prove that the accounting professional failed in that responsibility 3. Show that he was injured 4. Establish that the accounting professional’s failure was the primary cause of the injury (Answer the question “Was the failure of responsibility sufficiently enough for the injury to hold the accounting professional liable?”) To guide them in the course of carrying out their duties properly and to avoid being held responsible for any malpractice, accounting professionals should follow professional standards. These include the following: 1. The Public Interest. More than the title, CPA (Certified Public Accountants) should accept the responsibility and act in a way that is best for the public interest, respect the public trust, and show commitment to professionalism. 2. Due Care. CPAs should undoubtedly comply with the state law, including their profession’s technical and ethical standards. They must demonstrate competence at all times, and aim to continuously improve the quality of their services, and discharge professional responsibility to the best of their abilities. 3. Objectivity. To maintain objectivity, CPAs should: (a) avoid performing professional services when there are actual or perceived conflicts of interest, and (b) be independent when making auditing or other accounting services. Bridal Shower Games: A Prelude to Marriage!

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

By Gail Leino Bridal showers can have themes, such as kitchen themes, where not only is a kitchen item given, a recipe is given along with it. In a situation where kitchen items are not needed, a recipe AND the ingredients needed for the dish are a perfect gift. Another potential bridal shower theme is a lingerie party. These showers provide the perfect atmosphere for laughter and often raucous fun! You can spice this up or make it light hearted and fun. A bridal shower should be a fun time, so make this a fun part of the shower. Giving her gifts that will be well enjoyed later will be much appreciated by the bride and the groom, of course! It doesn’t have to be distasteful, either! One particularly fun bridal shower game is the Bag game where everyone is given a paper bag to put on their heads. Music is played, and when it stops, each person is required to remove something they are wearing that they dont really need. The game gets funnier and funnier, until everyone finally realizes that the article they really dont need is the bag on their head! Wedding dress games are often very entertaining! Have several rolls of white toilet paper, and divide the guests into two or more groups of three to five people. Each group then chooses a model (mother of the bride and/or groom work wonderfully) and instruct each team to design and fashion a “wedding dress” out of toilet paper. Accessories are allowed (earrings, bouquets, trains, headpieces, wedding ring, etc.), but they all have to be constructed from toilet paper. Once the groups are finished, the bride gets to judge and choose the winner of the contest. Just dont forget the camera, because the photos will be tremendous fun! Thursday, August 23rd, 2007

By Kevin Stith Italian Charms come in tens of thousands of designs and can symbolize almost anything in the world such as colleges, buildings, monuments, places, food, animals, cartoons, sports, phrases- even birthday cakes and decorations! The charms usually made of gold or gold plating, can be interchanged to make a new charm everyday. These links are easy enough to interchange and offer versatility to the wearer. Charms are the most popular jewelry items for gifting and small, elegant purchases for self. Gold Italian Charms originated in Italy and are usually made out of two base metals, such as copper or iron, plated with 18 K gold and enamel. Nothing looks classier than gold, and a gold plated Italian Charm can catch one’s eye like no other piece of jewelry. Quality gold Italian charm manufacturers and exporters offer thousands of pieces, each better than the other, with seasonal and festive discounts for bulk and retail customers. All gold Italian charms are made from high quality stainless steel, which is later painted with gold enamel, then decorated with semiprecious gems such as garnets and lapis. This gold enamel gives the charm a very beautiful and sparkling appearance. Shining stainless steel and gold make an absolutely breathtaking contrast. In the gold category of Italian charms, the ones most in demand are symbols of the zodiac, letters of the various alphabets of the world, animals and hearts, sports and hobbies, apart from an ever widening range of designs, modified every day to suit customer demands. The more exclusive gold Italian Charms are made of white gold, which is comparatively costlier and rarer, but can be bought from a reputed retailer who may have a host of Christmas charms, 14-karat gold charms, bracelet charms, and crown charms. For those wanting to be different from the rest, this white gold Italian charm might well be a rare choice when it comes to charms, but if looking for love, this is one jewelry gift few are known to resist. White Sun - Reincarnation & Liberation

Tuesday, August 21st, 2007

By Teow Aun Chew Deep inside us, we actually know about reincarnation but we have forgotten. It is similar to certain thing that we have long accepted in the past but have to deny it due to our present spiritual path. Ignorance means a lack of true understanding of the Truth and a long time ago we came to this world due to the so-called Initial Ignorance. Because of this initial ignorance, we have misunderstood the meaning of life and failed to see the true picture of the world. The word reincarnation comprised of two parts. Re means again and incarnation means being born to this world in a new body or become another being again. This explains having to come back to this world again. In some languages, the idea of reincarnation is indirectly implied for example in English when a person died, we say he or she had passed away to avoid using the word die bluntly. There must be something in us that had passed away leaving this physical body. What actually can pass away because the physical body is left on this earth after death? If we insist that there is no such thing as the soul, then what can pass away? Chinese too dislike using the word die. Taiwanese prefer to use the word guo shen meaning some one has died or left the body. This clearly explains that something inside us leaves this body and seeks a new body to reside in. It is the part of us called the true self (soul) that has to depart from the false self (body) at the end of this life and passes to the next existence in another body. The true self is intangible, cannot be seen, touched, destroyed, not born and is eternal. After death, we are no more a living human being, but a dead body or a ‘corpse’ but the true self lives on. Living beings are supple and able to move freely while alive but dead bodies turn stiff shortly after death. To move a corpse we dont need three or four persons but just two persons, one at the head and the other at the feet to carry it up and move it like a log. When the true self leaves the body, the heart stops, the body becomes a dead body and the person is considered dead. The Chinese word ren meaning human being comprised of two slanting strokes supporting each other, one long stroke on the left representing the soul and one short stroke on the right representing the body. When the long stroke leaves the short stroke, then the short stroke cannot support itself and it (body) dies and falls down. The long stroke goes somewhere and finds another short stroke to start another life and the short stroke will be buried six feet underground. Scientifically in chemistry we know that our bodies are composed of various molecules, including oxygen, hydrogen, carbon and some minor molecules. Where did these molecules come from? From our parents but spiritually, where were these molecules 100 years ago or 1,000 years ago? Where will these molecules be after 100 years or 1,000 years from now? All of them have to travel in a cyclic way and there were cycles in the past, and there will be cycles in the future. They just change places and combinations but they do not perish. In other words, these molecules can be used again and again just like recycled paper. If we can accept that inside us is a true self that does not perish and it survives the death of this physical body, then many sentient beings might dwell on it in the same way at different times. These sentient beings are our ideas and thoughts, they come and go and they emerge in our mind whether we like it or not and fake away in a similar way later. We dont seem to have any effective control of them and time is the most important factor. Speaking about time, we have seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, decades and so on. We divide time into smaller segments according to our measurements or needs. A second can be long for people anxiously waiting for very important news or struggling for survival. A day or year passes like lightning for many of us. Living a life now in the 21st century, we have forgotten our lives thousands of years ago. Many people wish to live their lives in the same environment similar to those ancient people or their ancestors just two or three generations ago. People then lived a simple life, riding horses and in peace with nature without having to worry much about the killings and wars of the modern days. Unfortunately this is the 21st century and we cannot turn back the previous time. We have no choice and most people identify themselves as the physical body and thus spend most of the time answering to its needs which is only temporary. If we cannot accept the concept of our inner world, what we do is merely recycling heaps of various molecules in and around us. In the end, we have to leave without taking anything with us, not even a molecule or an atom. This is the advice from my Heavenly Teacher JiGong: Undergoing the difference of time and space, words that one utters at the current level of awareness may have changed in half a year. But still, the voice of the heart right at this moment must be expressed outward. Then only can it be converted into energy and be digested (dissolved and transformed). In dealing with all matters, one must turn the light inwardly to find flaws with oneself (self-checked). Then only can one discern everything clearly when encountering devilish trials in the course of breaking through the spiritual tests. How to liberate oneself? One must start with a firm cultivation on ones body, tongue and intent (actions, words and thoughts). Root out all bad habits and behavior while calm and quiet the moving mind (agitated heart) through firm cultivation. Be able to endure disgrace, be forgiving and be large-minded. Submit meekly to all unfavorable situations and conditions to let your wisdom increase and grow. Have consideration for others at all times and naturally you will live transcendently and happily. Author: T.A Chew T.A Chew had gone through great sufferings and was told by Goddess of Mercy in 1998 that he had to learn life through his own sufferings. In this manner only he can guide people later on about how to liberate and stop the cycle of birth and death so as to end the sufferings. Homemade Cookies and Their T’s

Monday, August 20th, 2007

By Trinh Lieu Before you say that there is not a single T in homemade cookies, Id better tell you that the Ts stand for types and texture. They are the two prominent features in our favorite sweet. One often can not be without the other. We classify cookies based on how we get them ready for the oven. 1. Drop Cookies - If you have ever made chocolate chip, peanut butter, or oatmeal cookies, you undoubtedly use the dropping method. Any kitchen utensils such as tablespoons or ice cream scoops can be used to portion the dough. The trick is to make these portions relatively equal in size so that they bake uniformly. A variation of this technique is rolling cookie dough into balls. Drop cookies tend to have a soft and chewy texture. 2. Icebox or Refrigerated Cookies - I suspect that this type of cookies was invented when someone who did not have time to bake right after preparing the dough. Instead, she shaped it into logs or rectangles and refrigerated it. When she had time later, she sliced the chilled dough into individual pieces and baked them as needed. Many elegant homemade cookies such as pinwheel and checkerboard are of this type. It allows a busy home baker an opportunity to show off her creativity. These cookies usually have a crisp texture. 3. Cut-Out or Rolled Cookies - Dough for this type of cookies needs to be firm. To minimize scrap, start cutting cookies from the edge of the dough, working inward as close to one another as possible. Scrap can be re-rolled but tends to yield tough cookies. Cut-out cookies are often baked on parchment lined or ungreased cookie sheets to keep the dough from spreading and loosing its shape. An alternative is to hand-shaped the dough into spheres, crescents, or other traditional shapes. 4. Bar or Sheet Cookies - It takes almost no time at all to transfer cookie dough from a mixing bowl to a baking pan. This is the best method for a busy cookie lover. 5. Pressed or Spritz or Bagged Cookies - The right flour and proper proportion of ingredients are prerequisite for success in baking this type of cookies. The dough should be soft enough so that it can be easily forced through a pastry tip or cookie press. Using eggs as the only liquid will help cookies retain their small, distinct and decorated shape. 6. Wafer Cookies - Being extremely thin and delicate is a distinguishing trait of these cookies. They are made from a batter that you pour or spread directly onto a baking sheet. The cookies need to be molded immediately into shapes after coming out of the oven. Generally, cookie dough with a relatively high proportion of fat, granulated sugar, and eggs would promote spreading and chewiness. High fat and sugar but low in eggs (liquid) tend to result in crispness. The opposite condition will add softness to your homemade cookies. ReferenceSARAH R. Couples Relationship Assessment Quiz - Part 11: Conscious Wounds

Sunday, August 19th, 2007

By Glenn Cohen Can you say that you do not have any emotional baggage? Do you know why certain behaviors or words hurt your feelings? Recognizing the emotional wounds — especially those that are unhealed is the first step in identifying unmet needs in your relationship. Both partners have wounds and unmet needs. To Co-Create a Conscious Relationship, you must learn to identify these wounds, see how they impact your relationship, and rectify the situation. This assessment begins the revealing and, at times, painful, experience of healing wounds. This free set of assessments offers you the chance to find powerful answers. If you are willing to take the time to reflect on these questions, discuss them, and be honest with yourselves and each other, it can help you on your journey to Co-Create a Conscious Relationship so you can be Best Friends During the Day, Lovers at Night, and Partners for Life. The adventure of life gives us the incredible opportunity to learn and grow as individuals. I like to say that we do not stop learning, stretching, growing, maturing, and changing until we are 6 feet under. What happens so often is we go through life unaware that we dont know what we dont know. In this fast-paced world, many of us do not have or take the time to sit, take a deep breath, and really think about the statements addressed in these assessments. We usually do not reflect on and consider the impact the answers to these statements can have on our relationship. We must gain the awareness, learn the techniques, and practice the skills to Co-Create a Conscious Relationship. Take your time to think about each statement and be honest. One partner should use a black pen and the other partner a red pen. Rate your degree of agreement for each statement on a scale from 1 to 10, with 10 being a definite yes and 1 being a definite no. Write your score on the first line to the left of each statement. The second line is for your partners score. You may find it difficult to give certain statements a low score. You may worry that your response will hurt or offend your partner or create conflict. Honesty, however, is critical for the success of the Co-Create a Conscious Relationship program. Also, no matter what score your partner writes down, be supportive; do not get defensive, resentful, or angry. Thank him or her for being courageous and honest. All of the topics in this assessment series are covered in detail, with exercises, in my book The Journey from I-TO-WE. Estate Planning - Changing A Will

Friday, August 17th, 2007

By Ronald Hudkins I am taking you out of the will, or I am going to disinherit Gregory and leave all my money to Steven, are statements that seem far more like they belong in an Agatha Christie novel than in a serious discussion of estate planning. Although the world is not filled with conniving relations who maneuver endlessly to gain the favor of a truly despicable older family matron or patron who uses their wealth to control them all until it culminates in murder most foul, this model is instructive regarding how changing a will can cause hard feelings between family members and create legal difficulties. The chief legal difficulty created by changing a will is that sometimes the two wills look like sequels to a movie and are literally called (Will I) and (Will II). When this happens there will be, just as in the Agatha Christie mysteries, a group of relatives and friends who are favored by the first will (Will I) and not by the second (Will II). These relatives realize that if they can challenge and get rid of Will II, Will I will take its place, and they set out to get rid of Will II after the deceased is gone and can not take further action. Of course there are also the relations or friends that are favored by the revised will (Will II) and fight to keep it valid in the eyes of the law. There are many ways to attempt to invalidate a will that can be the subject of another article. The point of this article is to make it clear that changing a will by substituting it with another will drafted later in time is an exercise fraught with peril. A better way to go is to expressly change from one will to the other or to expressly repudiate the first will. An express change is a change in writing. For example, if you want to get rid of the first will write that, I hereby repudiate the first will with this writing and all of its provisions hereby are to be considered void. It is difficult to get around the fact that you intend to get rid of the first will entirely if you fail to make such a claim in writing. Once that is settled, then you can begin the second will by stating again that you made another will before and that it is entirely void and does not in any way reflect your desires with respect to your property. And finally, include in the second will that it and it alone are a reflection of what you want when you are gone. Another good way to go is not to let anyone, other than your attorney, know you are making a will or replacing an old will with a new one. People cannot fight over what they have no idea exists or has existed. This is a good way to keep the elements of an Agatha Christie novel regarding wills out of your life and the lives of your heirs. The fictional tyrant who rules the family with their notions of inheritance or disinheritance is the kind of person who has people fighting over their will because they are always blabbing about it. With wills it is best to adopt the policy that loose lips sink ships when it comes to your relatives fighting over what you meant after you are gone. This is not what anyone wants for their families and, with a little discretion and a lot of planning, it is easily avoided. Copyright 2006 Ronald Hudkins About Ronald E. Using Legacy PCMCIA Modem Cards on New Systems Without a PCMCIA Port

Thursday, August 16th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sam_Garfield]Sam Garfield Computer manufacturers have left many people in the dark by updating their computers to only include express card expansion ports. Although this is a new and better technology, people with legacy PCMCIA cards are left out in the rain without a way to use those cards. These are primarily modem adapter cards like those you would get from a cell phone provider. These cards allow mobile Internet access from anywhere you can get a cell phone signal. PCMCIA card present a special problem to people who have upgraded to new computers. There are two reasons for this: Cost of the card and availability of alternative cards that use express card technology. These cards are often very expensive. Buying them from a cell phone company even requires you to often sign a contract for various terms of service. This makes upgrading to a new card expensive, and sometimes even impossible if you are no far enough along in your contract. Many of the new cards, although express card, do not offer any advantage over the old cards as far as speed or reliability - the form factor is the only thing that has changed. Even if you are able to afford an upgrade, and the plan with your service provider allows it, there may not even be an express card version of your modem card. Service providers have been slow to get this new technology out the door while the computer manufacturers have been falling all over themselves trying to add express card ports as a “feature.” Having a PCMCIA (also called cardbus) modem card and a new computer with only and express card port certainly presents a problem. So how is this problem silved? There are actually a few options out there that will get you rolling with mobile data in almost no time at all. Neither solution is perfect, but they both should work - at least until you are able to upgrade your modem card. The first solution is to use a USB to Cardbus adapter. The second solution is to put that express card port to work with a Express Card to PCMCIA adapter. Either one will work, but both have different advantages. First we will examine the USB to PCMCIA solution. USB is an obvious choice because it is so ubiquitous. Almost any PC you find will have at least a few USB ports. That makes this a great solution for ultimate compatibility. The other advantage of a USB adapter is that you can use your modem card on a desktop computer. This can come in handy in various situations. The USB adapter does have a few drawbacks. Like any modem adapter card, it is only compatible with certain wireless modem cards. Fortunately, all the major cards that are most popular are covered. You will most likely be okay with the card you have, but its a good idea to double check the compatibility list for a given card just to make sure. The other drawback is that a USB to PCMCIA adapter is more expensive than the alternative. They will set you back around $200, a bit more than the next alternative we will discuss. Of course, for someone who absolutely needs a solution, the price isnt too bad - although comparable to the price of a brand new card. The next solution is to use the new express card slot for an Express Card to PCMCIA adapter. This is generally a good idea since the one technology is meant to take over the other. You are basically using the old format card in the new format slot. These adapters tend to be a little bit cheaper - around $100, but do not offer the same compatibility as a USB adapter. If you want to use the card in a desktop computer, for example, you will need to purchase a PCI express card adapter. Still, this should work on any new computer with an express card slot. This makes it a great solution for mobile warriors who need data wherever they go but dont need a mobile data card for anything else. As with a USB to PCMCIA adapter, the Express card adapter is only compatible with certain modem cards. Again, check compatibility on the card you intend to buy but most cards should be covered without a problem. One last solution you might want to consider is a PCMCIA PCI card for your desktop computer. This isnt the best solution for most people as these types of modem cards are typically used in notebook computers, but if you need a card to work in your desktop computer, this solution might be for you. These cards are generally inexpensive (~$20 and up depending on what exactly you need). A PCMCIA PCI Card will also be compatible with virtually any modem card you throw at it, making this solution a good fit if you have multiple cards or cards that are not compatible with a USB or Express Card adapter. Of course, if you dont want to mess with an adapter, you will just have to wait until your cell contract runs out or until your service provider offers and allows you to purchase an upgraded express-format card. This may be your best bet if you do not absolutely need mobile data and can get by for a year or so without it. Whichever solution you decide to use, you will be up and running with mobile data in no time. Staying connected is an important part of many peoples daily lives and jobs, so it is important to make sure the technology designed to allow us to be connected works. Not the same solution will work for everyone, but there is a solution out there that will work for you. Sam Garfield is a technolgy expert and mobile communcations guru.
